Colorado Indymedia Launches New Online News Project
February 2nd, 2008 | by Crash the Conventions |Announcing dncdisruption08.org!
The new website is a result of collaboration between Colorado Indymedia and Unconventional Denver, a Denver-based group planning protests against the DNC.
The website already features loads of info on groups currently organizing against the DNC, a closer looks into the inner workings of the convention, resources such as maps of delegate hotels and other key DNC related locations (remember when I wrote about Anti-DNC Landmarks in Denver?), and thorough coverage of the many events related to the Democratic National Convention.
They’re promising frequent news updates, editorials on why people are protesting the Democrats and the DNC, an visitor’s guide to Denver and some history of activism and politics.
They’re even using an open-registration model, where anyone can register for an account and publish news immediately.
Needless to say, I already subscribed to their RSS feed.
