There were banners held on overpasses in Colorado, creative street theater and posters hung in Boston, an anti-war march in the California that visited both the Hilary Clinton campaign office and the Barack Obama campaign office, and other actions in Grand Rapids and Milwaukee. The demonstrators successfully entered the Obama campaign office, but the Obama-people don’t look too happy about it.

There is already a lot of energy going into real democratic, progressive actions. There’s no doubt that the candidates hear about it when peace demonstrators march to and enter their campaign offices and tape up anti-war posters. At a time when the Barack and Hilary are so close in the polls, these actions could push the candidates to take stronger pro-peace positions. For better or worse, this year’s election is going to affect the lives of many people in the US and internationally.

While the presidential contenders were busy raising millions of dollars in a matter of hours trying to convince people to vote for them at the caucuses, some people took the Super Tuesday fiasco as an opportunity to bring up issues that both the candidates and the mainstream media have continued to ignore.

Unconventional Denver, a local group part of nationwide network of anarchists and anti-authoritarians organizing against the upcoming political conventions, called for last minute actions against the elections on Tuesday, February 5th.

    YOU BUNCH OF SPINELESS WIMPS!!!! GET A LIFE AND GET A BACKBONE. WE WOULD NOT BE A FREE COUNTRY TODAY IF NOT FOR WAR. IF YOU COWARDS HAVE NOT NOTICED BUT NO ONE IS FORCED TO JOIN THE SERVICE.
